etcetera23
The Artist etcetera23 etcetera23 began his artistic journey in the field of street art. Later, travels through different countries and cultures led him to new inspirations and techniques. During this time, he experimented with watercolor and acrylic painting before eventually focusing on printmaking.
Today, etcetera23 mainly works with relief and intaglio printing techniques. His multi-colored linocuts feature a wide range of motifs, from abstract compositions to animal representations, characterized by an experimental use of color and form. In intaglio printing, he creates etchings and aquatints exploring abstract subjects, plant motifs, and landscapes. Alongside these works, street art remains an independent part of his artistic practice and continues to appear throughout different series of works.
More recently, etcetera23 has also been working with traditional letterpress printing on a more than 100-year-old Boston platen press. Through this process, he creates cards and prints that combine classic printing techniques with contemporary youth language and modern ideas.
His work reflects the diversity of techniques and themes that have evolved alongside each other over the years.
